Corsa C introduction
The Corsa C is the next generation of club Vauxhall/Opel car. We have been building cars since 2003 and have come up with components and specifications to suit all competitors. The cars and components are available in the following different forms; rallycross, tarmac, forest and of course the Super 1600 kit car.
The shell is based on either a brand new GM 3 dr shell without sunroof or a used shell. The shells can be either customer supplied or Walden supplied. If you are looking to run a Corsa, it is sometimes cheaper to buy a complete car as a base. The bare shell is stripped of all sealers & paint and checked for alignment. The bare shell is then fully seam welded, all suspension points are reinforced and triangulated, a full 2003 weld in multi point cage is fitted, with tunnel brace, dash bar, belt bars, front and rear turret bars and extra roof bars. Seat rails are fitted along with driver and navigator foot rest brackets. The rear arches are boxed to allow lower ride height and fuel filler is modified to take flush fitting aircraft type cap. For tarmac cars, oil cooler brackets are fitted, forest cars have sump guard brackets, all cars have mounting plates and bulkhead mods for Quaiffe gearchange, reinforced engine mount points are fitted, along with reinforced sub frame mounts. Kevlar wide aech body kits are used. All shells are finally prepared to a high standard before etch prime, high build and gloss coats are applied. Stock shells are supplied in primer. Panels are supplied to customer requirements, standard, fibre glass or carbon fibre. All painting is flexible and to customer requirements. For further information, please contact me.

All the kits and builds are tried and tested conversions, using the best quality components and built with the utmost care and attention. Whether you are looking for a road conversion or a full race engine there is a conversion for you. All conversions are flexible and can be adapted to suit individual requirements; i.e.Group A standard plenhum, open loop or closed loop lambda control, Air box or competition air filter, in line or transverse fittment, wet sump or dry sump. Because the engine is lighter than its big brother (2.0XE) many units are finding there way into all sorts of cars; Caterhams, single seaters, small sports cars mainly for sprint and hill climb or just fun. CORSA C PARTS LIST.
Body shell:
Based on a new GM bare shell.
Before work starts on the shell, it is stripped of all sealers, deadening pads, surplus brackets, engine/scuttle bulkhead, spare wheel well. The cant rails are reduced, inner panels & hinged panels cut away and the seat mounting plates removed. The shell is then seam welded (weld an inch-miss an inch). The front end is reinforced around the subframe mounts and fabricated engine mount points are set into the chassis rails, the tunnel/bulkhead is modified to accept a direct gear lever assembly. Front turrets are modified to accept longer struts and accept the wide track offset. Twin bar seat rails are fitted along with harness points. Sill stand points and a set of high stands are supplied with the car. Fuel filler point is modified to accept an alloy twist type, but std tank position and filler is retained. The rear wheel arches are cut to allow the wide carbon arches to be fitted, the rear is fitted with high turrets, to accept longer coil over struts. Carbon roof vent if required. Fully triangulated T45 cage with door bars, rear pick up point triangulation, rear diagonals, tunnel brace, harness bars, front triangulation with dash bar (replaces std cross frame), roof bars and front leg to main hoop triangulation. Tig welded into position with necessary mounting point fabrication. The shell is then dummy built, drilled for lines, panels fitted, bonnet/tailgate pins fitted etc. Finally stripped then sent for paint. Painted inside & out to your colour scheme. Finally, Kevlar floor guards are fitted to the underside.
